Your Trust is Essential.
Trust isn’t something we take lightly. It’s earned in every gentle exam, every honest conversation, every farm call at first light, and every late-night moment we spend thinking about a patient we saw earlier that day. We know you’re handing us a family member who can’t speak for themselves — whether that’s a nervous rescue dog or a prize mare — and that responsibility shapes how we show up. Whether you’re walking into our clinic with a happy puppy or meeting us at the gate with a lame horse, our promise is the same: we’ll tell you the truth, we’ll explain your options, and we’ll never recommend anything for your animal that we wouldn’t choose for our own.
Collaborative Care
You know your animals better than anyone, and your insights matter — whether you’re describing a change in your cat’s behavior or something you’ve noticed in your herd. We see every appointment and every farm call as a conversation, not a classroom lecture — because the best care happens when we work together, share what we’re each seeing, and build a plan that fits your animals and your life.
Honest Communication
We’ll always tell you what we’d tell a friend. That means clear explanations, straightforward recommendations, and transparent conversations about cost — so you can make the choices that are right for your animals, your family, and your operation without any guesswork.
Stress-Free Experience
A vet visit shouldn’t feel like a battle — for companion pets or large animals. From the way we greet your dog at the door to the way we approach your horse in the field, we work hard to make every interaction calm, low-pressure, and as comfortable as possible. This applies to the humans in the room (or the barn) too.
Flexible Care
Life on a farm doesn’t follow a 9-to-5 schedule, and we get it. Whether you need a same-week small animal appointment, a farm call that works around your operation, a payment plan, or a quiet conversation about a tough decision, we’ll work with you to make great care doable for your real-life schedule and budget.
Lifelong Wellness
The puppies we meet in our clinic are often the ones we say goodbye to years later, and the foals we help deliver sometimes grow into the horses we care for well into their twenties. We don’t take that arc for granted. We’re here for every visit in between — building a record, building a relationship, and being a steady presence through every stage of every animal’s life.
“Had two kittens that needed eye surgery and when I couldn't get them into any vet near me, I traveled two hours for Appleton Veterinary Clinic to take awesome care of them. Great job and they were so nice.”

The Heart Behind The Healing
All creatures, great and small.
Our team didn’t end up in veterinary medicine by accident. We’re here because we’ve loved a dog who slept at the foot of our bed, worried about a cat who suddenly stopped eating, sat up all night with a colicky horse, and felt that particular ache of a quiet barn after saying goodbye. That kind of love — for animals of every size — shapes everything we do, from how we greet a nervous new patient to how we show up at your farm at dawn when you need us.
Care that grows with them.
From wobbly puppies and kittens to dignified senior pets, from a mare’s first foal to a herd that’s been in your family for generations — your animals’ needs will change, and we’re here for all of it. We offer everything from routine companion animal wellness to large animal field services, all delivered by a team that knows your animals’ histories (and their personalities). Whether it’s a cat’s annual checkup or a cow that’s not acting right, you’ll never feel like just another appointment.
Let’s get started.
We can’t wait to meet you and your animals. Whether you’re scheduling a small animal visit, setting up a farm call, or just have a question, our team is ready. No pressure, no sales pitches, just great care from people who genuinely love what they do.
