From the Barn to the Living Room.
At Appleton Veterinary Clinic, we’ve built the kind of veterinary practice that takes care of your whole family — the dog on the couch, the cat on the counter, the horse in the pasture, and the goats who keep escaping the fence. We know your animals by name, we remember the questions you asked on your last visit, and we’re just as comfortable in your barn as we are in our clinic. From companion pets to working livestock, we’re here for every stage of every animal’s life — with the kind of expert, hands-on care that keeps families and operations running strong.
There’s Room for Everyone
Whether you’re a first-time pet parent, managing a working farm, new to the area, or just looking for a veterinary team that can handle all of your animals under one roof, we’d love to meet you. Our team takes the time to get to know you, your family, and your operation from day one — and with flexible payment options, we make it easier to say yes to the care they need.
Small Animal Care
Dogs and cats are at the heart of what we do. Our small animal services include wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, dental care, diagnostics, surgery, and nutrition guidance — all delivered by a team that knows your pet’s history, personality, and quirks. Whether your dog is bouncing in for their first puppy visit or your cat is settling into their senior years, we tailor every appointment to where they are in life.
Large Animal & Equine Care
From routine wellness and herd health to reproductive services, dental care, and lameness evaluations, our large-animal team brings experienced, hands-on care to horses, cattle, goats, sheep, and other livestock — whether that’s in our facility or out on your property. We understand that every operation is different, and every animal plays a different role in your life. We’ll meet you where you are, muck boots and all.
Specialized Care
Beyond the everyday, we offer a range of additional services designed to meet your animal’s unique needs — whatever those might be. From specialized medical support to lifestyle services and everything in between, our team brings the same care, expertise, and personal attention to every visit.
“Everyone in the building genuinely cares about your animals and you.”
“Great service! I’m glad to have such an amazing vet, and it isn’t very expensive!”

Ready to Meet Your New Vet?
Informed Decisions Begin Here
Great care should come with great communication—and that includes the practical stuff. Here are answers to a few of the questions we hear most often. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, just give us a call.
What are my payment options?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and checks, and we offer flexible financing through Cherry, CareCredit, and Scratch Pay to help make veterinary care more manageable. Payment is due at the time of service, and we’re always happy to walk through your options before treatment begins.
Do you accept pet insurance?
We work with all major pet insurance providers and are happy to provide the documentation you need to submit a claim. While we don’t bill insurance directly, our team can help you understand your coverage and make the reimbursement process as smooth as possible.
How do I refill my pet's prescription?
Refilling your pet’s prescription is simple—just visit our online pharmacy to order medications, food, and supplies for convenient home delivery. You can also call us during business hours, and we’ll have your refill ready for pickup ASAP.
The Heart Behind The Healing
All creatures, great and small.
Our team didn’t end up in veterinary medicine by accident. We’re here because we’ve loved a dog who slept at the foot of our bed, worried about a cat who suddenly stopped eating, sat up all night with a colicky horse, and felt that particular ache of a quiet barn after saying goodbye. That kind of love — for animals of every size — shapes everything we do, from how we greet a nervous new patient to how we show up at your farm at dawn when you need us.
Care that grows with them.
From wobbly puppies and kittens to dignified senior pets, from a mare’s first foal to a herd that’s been in your family for generations — your animals’ needs will change, and we’re here for all of it. We offer everything from routine companion animal wellness to large animal field services, all delivered by a team that knows your animals’ histories (and their personalities). Whether it’s a cat’s annual checkup or a cow that’s not acting right, you’ll never feel like just another appointment.
Let’s get started.
We can’t wait to meet you and your animals. Whether you’re scheduling a small animal visit, setting up a farm call, or just have a question, our team is ready. No pressure, no sales pitches, just great care from people who genuinely love what they do.
