Jessica is a Certified Veterinary Technician. She grew up on a farm between Appleton and Correll, where her early interest in working with animals started. Her father and grandfather farmed crops, and she and her father also raised pigs, horses, sheep, cattle, chickens, and several farm cats—and they always had a farm dog to help watch over the place. After high school, she decided to go to college for her AAS degree in Veterinary Technology at Ridgewater College in Willmar. Her interests are spending time with her son Donovan, riding horses, swimming, camping, gardening, continuing education (she always enjoys learning new things), and spending quality laughs with friends and family. She currently has two dogs, Audrey and Gordy, a cat named Oscar, and a horse named Kachina. Not only does she want to continue her profession here at Appleton Veterinary Clinic, but she also wants to be more involved with educating children about the beautiful farming community we live in. Jessica primarily does small animal work for us and is always quick to answer the phone, so be sure to say hi when you stop in or call!
